History of our organization
We are A non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in September 2o23, dedicated to promoting Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) across Ghana. Our mission is to advance disability rights, inclusivity, and empowerment, recognizing the unique challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. Our goal is to create an inclusive society where individuals with disabilities are empowered, and have equal opportunities to actively participate in all aspects of life. We envision a Ghana that celebrates diversity, embraces disabilities as part of our shared identity, and ensures everyone can thrive and contribute to their community.

What we do

Outreach Programs / Field Work / Home Visits
CBR Ghana engage in regular outreach programs, fieldwork, and home visits. The team travel to various areas to identify individuals with disabilities ->

Coordinate CBR Projects / Programs
We collaborate with local communities, government agencies, and other NGOs to coordinate and implement CBR projects and programs.

Livelihood program
CBR Ghana’s livelihood program focuses on providing skills training (e.g., detergents, pastries, and sewing) for individuals with disabilities and their caregivers.
